Mohamed and Ali presentation report...

Sunday, June 26, 2011
Venue: W113
Time: 1450-1515
presentation by: Mohd Ahmed H00213864 & Ali Hadi H00213873
Topic: Computers

I choose to discuss about this presentation because it was done nicely and neatly. The presentation was illustrated by two of my colleagues about computers. They talked about the history, important developments, improvements in social life and how computers will be in the future. They showed the history of computers very well, especially when Ali supported his talk by including some years like Colossus Mark 1 in 1944. In addition, Mohamed handled his part of the presentation very well where he talked about the future computers and he supported his talk by reference to an animation video.
Overall, their presentation style was quite good with interesting slides. Also, they both introduced the presentation topics very well as I recalled it with energy and enthusiasm. Mohamed was very confident in the presentation and he talked with a loud voice; also he did a lot of eye contact and what really I liked about him is that he has a very special smile. In contrast, his colleague started with confidence but he became shy in some moments when he corrected himself with a loud voice. Both of them were standing at the side of the screen when illustrating their presentation without help of cards. Also, the presentation looked very organized in the way they preformed.
Talking about the power point itself for my colleague it was pretty good with standard animation. The slides had a simple background which was white but it had good text size and it was easy to read and catch up with.
Overall, the presentation was good and interesting to watch and I really regret that I didn't record the presentation because it really was worthy to watch it again especially if you are interested about the computer. However, both of them seemed that they did a lot of presentations and performed in front of many people, and that is why I thought I will never compete with them. In the end, I would like to say to both of my friends thank you a lot to let us go to this fantastic experiment with you and I wish good luck to both of you.
